4vs4 Squads
Team Kix runs on a squad based rooster with 5 players and 1 Squad Leader per team to prepare practices, organize matches and simply report for and on behalf of the Team. It's 5 to create that extra reserve player who plays in and out of matches or covers any players absence. Within a squad we have the base role for each player, Slayers, Supporters and Defenders. This comes into more importance for Team Objective game types like CTF, King of the Hill, Extraction etc. For example..
Team A (2 Slayers, 1 Support, 1 Defender, 1 Reserve)
Team B (2 Slayers, 2 Defenders, 1 Reserve)
Team C..
...
2vs2 Squads
Team Kix also have doubles squads which run on a similar format but do not have a reserve player. Team doubles are set up to improve the variety of game types and also it's a good way for players to coach other players. Each doubles team has a squad leader who prepares practices, organizes matches etc. For example..
Team Doubles A
Team Doubles B
Team Doubles C...
...
Each squad will play as much as they can together, attend squad practice and participate in competitive matches.
As Team Kix grows so will Team Formats..
